2027 Wedding Rental Rates

The UBC Boathouse offers flexible pricing depending on the season and day of the week, making it easier to plan your dream wedding within your budget. Here’s a breakdown of their rates for peak and low seasons, along with additional hourly options.


Peak Season (April–October):

  • Monday–Thursday: $4,200
  • Friday–Sunday: $6,825

Low Season (November–March):

  • Monday–Thursday: $3,150
  • Friday–Sunday: $5,775

Additional Hours:

  • Any hours beyond the standard 8-hour package are $150 per hour.


Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate weekday wedding or a grand weekend celebration, the UBC Boathouse offers flexibility, incredible scenery, and all the charm of a waterfront venue.

The Floating Docks: A Unique Waterfront Experience

One of the standout features of the UBC Boathouse is its fully floating docks, offering a truly unique on-water space for your outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. These docks are included with your event hall rental—one of my favorite spots to capture those dreamy, golden-hour wedding photos. 



It’s important to note that the docks are a shared public space, used by registered rowing and paddling programs. Your ceremony and cocktail hour times will be scheduled around these programs, and final approval is granted approximately four months before your wedding. Be sure to request written confirmation of your desired dock times before sending out invitations. The docks are not available for events during November through February, so plan accordingly if you’re considering a winter wedding.

The UBC Boathouse takes the guesswork out of planning by offering a curated list of preferred vendors, developed entirely from reviews by past clients. These vendors know the venue inside and out and span a variety of styles and price points, allowing you to tailor your wedding to your vision.



This preferred vendor list is built by clients for clients, ensuring that you can feel confident your wedding team is experienced, reliable, and familiar with the unique aspects of the Boathouse. 

Bonus: When you choose one of the preferred caterers for your event, the $1,000 galley fee is waived.
