Some love stories start exactly where you'd expect them to — at a wedding. Michael & Melissa met at a friend's wedding, sitting at the same table. Two years later, they were the ones at the head table, getting married themselves.

The Day: October 17, 2026

The Ceremony: Kilarney Mennonite Church, Vancouver

Their day began at Kilarney Mennonite Church in Vancouver — a warm, heartfelt ceremony surrounded by the people who watched their story unfold from that very first table.

Portraits: Deer Lake Park, Burnaby

Then we headed to Deer Lake Park in Burnaby for portraits — one of those places that gives you a little bit of everything: water, trees, open paths, and soft light. Michael & Melissa were easy and joyful in front of the camera, and it shows in every frame.

The Reception: Diamond Alumni Centre, SFU

The celebration moved to the Diamond Alumni Centre on SFU's Burnaby campus for dinner, speeches, and dancing — the perfect room to finish a day that started, fittingly, with a wedding.

Michael & Melissa — from a shared table at a friend's wedding to your own head table: thank you for trusting me with your day. 🤍
