Some love stories start with a grand gesture. Jennifer & Riley's started with a swipe — they met online, and somehow, through all the noise of modern dating, found the person. That's the part I love most about this wedding: the most modern beginning, celebrated in the most timeless way.

The Day: October 11, 2026

On a fall day in Burnaby, they married at Riverway Clubhouse — the golf course venue with wide-open skies, golden autumn light, and room for everyone they love. October in the Lower Mainland can be a gamble, but this day delivered: soft light, warm colours, and a celebration that felt easy from start to finish.

Portraits on the Course

A golf course in October is a gift for a photographer — long grass, autumn trees, open sky, and no two frames alike. Jennifer & Riley were naturals in front of the camera: relaxed, laughing, and clearly more interested in each other than in posing. Those are always my favourite portraits.

The Celebration

After the ceremony came the part every couple waits for: dinner, speeches, dancing, and a room full of the people who cheered this love story on from the very first message.

Jennifer & Riley — thank you for trusting me with your day, from the first look to the last dance. From a first message to forever. 🤍
