Just because you’re planning a small and intimate wedding doesn’t mean you have to settle for a bland or boring venue. Vancouver is full of stunning spaces that suit every style, size, and budget. If your dream celebration includes a warm, inviting atmosphere with large windows, a working fireplace, and views surrounded by lush greenery, then the Teahouse at Stanley Park is calling your name.

This stunning venue offers couples a quaint setting, with its largest indoor venue option accommodating a maximum of 70-100 guests. Their outdoor ceremony site has a capacity of up to 80 guests, so it's ideal for smaller celebrations. With their magnificent blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, first-class catering services, and ocean views, your special day will be one to remember.

But, before you book, it’s always helpful to know what to expect—and even better, to see how other couples have brought the space to life. That’s why I’ve created this venue spotlight, complete with everything you need to know about the Teahouse at Stanley Park, along with some real-wedding inspiration to help spark some ideas.

Teahouse at Stanley Park “I Do” Locations

The Teahouse features several stunning wedding venue spaces tucked inside Stanley Park. There’s The Conservatory (one of the most popular!), The Drawing Room, The Tea Room, and a handful of beautiful outdoor spaces surrounded by landscaped gardens. Each space offers its own unique charm regardless of the season in which you tie the knot.

I’ve had the chance to capture quite a few love stories at the Teahouse, and what I often see is couples opting for an outdoor ceremony (weather permitting, of course), then moving the celebration inside The Conservatory. The outdoor space is lush with greenery and offers incredible cliffside views overlooking the water—it makes for a seriously dreamy backdrop, especially at sunset.

Cozy Indoor Reception Space

On the western side of the restaurant, you’ll find the indoor Conservatory—a favorite for receptions. It seats up to 70 guests (or 60 if you're planning to include dancing and mingling) and can accommodate up to 100 standing. With its glass roof, large ocean-facing windows, and grand fireplace, it offers a beautiful and inviting atmosphere to celebrate your love.

The space is also conveniently connected to the Conservatory Green ceremony lawn via a private entrance, making the transition from ceremony to reception seamless and stress-free.

Wedding Services & Features

I can’t stress enough how much easier (and more enjoyable) the day is when a venue truly has everything covered. That’s one of the things I love about shooting at this spot. From your first inquiry to the moment you walk down the aisle, their team is on top of it.

One of the best parts about a Stanley Park Teahouse wedding is the variety of photo locations just steps away. It’s rare to find a venue that offers access to forest trails, the beach, ocean views, and beautifully designed event spaces—all in one spot. It’s a dream for portraits and adds so much variety to your wedding gallery.
